Since 1933, Riverside Elementary School has served the children of the Riverside community, a neighborhood of Greenwich, Connecticut. We are a K- 5 school. Our enrollment generally hovers around 500 students.

Riverside School has been identified as a School of Distinction in the category of "Highest Overall Performance". This was based on a rating system enacted by the state of Connecticut wherein each school's performance on standardized tests is analyzed and assigned a "school performance index". Our designation indicated that our school performance falls in the top 10% of all elementary schools in Connecticut. This special distinction reflects the hard work of the staff and students. We are very proud of this accomplishment and committed to sustaining it.

SCHOOL HOURS

Regular school day schedule starts at 8:45 a.m. and dismisses at 3:15 p.m.

Early release schedule dismisses at 1:15 p.m.

Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
